As for being a grifter - “Someone who pulls confidence games.”, “A person who swindles you by means of deception or fraud.” - he does allow for donations, but I’m sorry I don’t see the deception or fraud.
It seems far more likely that someone might try to discredit what appears to be an effective means of countering the current institutionalized fraud through personal attacks against him than it does that he’s being deceptive.
