I use to wonder about the fascination with these ancestry.coms, 23& me etc. My family passed our history down through the generations. We’re scotch-Irish. My dad was proud of our general line. I never understood why other families didn’t do the same. I never felt any desire whatsoever to investigate this further but I know many who did.
