I doubt that AMC will have anything close to BBBY and GME.
There is no turnaround plan for AMC. Most people that like movies have 50" or larger HD TVs these days.
When the stock went up (and heavily pushed by the MSM) the execs gave themselves fat raises and bonuses.
I'd bet on Blockbuster, toys-r-us, or Sears before AMC.
Also fuck AMC as a company. They don't have to pay overtime due to a federal loophole for entertainment / theaters, exploiting this at their dine-in theaters to fuck over kitchen staff, and they treat their employees like shit.
Hello, Taylor Swift. AMC is a distributor now too. 3 quarters of increasing revenue. Talk shit all you want.
Well what I stated was facts.
And considering I used to work that one of their dine-in theaters I wouldn't call that talking shit, I'd call that a personal experience, also grounded in fact.
Listen if you've got AMC I hope you make money. I genuinely do. But I'm not emotionally invested in any of these companies. Objectively I don't think that AMC is going to happen anywhere close to GameStop and bed bath & beyonds transformation into Teddy.
There's not even a push to directly register AMC. There's nothing stopping hedge funds from continually creating synthetic shares.
Meanwhile it looks like bed bath & beyond / Teddy and GameStop are about to go to tokenized stocks or may use some other mechanism to force shorts to close.
I'm sorry my friend but AMC has nothing on In the works that they can leverage to get short positions to close.
I've got about a quarter mil in the market right now so I've got a lot of skin in the game. And a 5 years ago I only had about 15 grand. I'd say I've done pretty well.
