Do you end time change? If so, yeah I agree. I'd rather have light at the end of the day and I don't even work. I remember when I did work you never saw the sun except on your lunch hour. So many people work in buildings with out windows. Heck even factories in the 1800s had some natural light.
They could pick either permanent daylight savings OR no daylight savings, I don't care, as long as it wouldn't switch back and forth. Personally if I had to weigh in on the decision making, I'd vouch for brighter evenings and darker mornings. Give people more light to enjoy life after getting off of work!
People are more alert in the morning so darker mornings and lighter evenings result in fewer traffic accidents overall. They did studies in the EU in 2018 when sticking to one time was on the table.
