I used to like going out, I would get into to most interesting, intellectual, engaging conversations. Now people have their head in their phone and don’t discuss much more than superficial B.S., so I don’t even bother. Even when I went to big events I would stay on the perimeter and watch the crowd as much as the spectacle, I liken it to the character Captain Benjamin Willard in Apocalypse Now and how he would watch the watchers.
These days I value quiet solitude, I don’t enjoy such thing’s anymore.
