Could also be a case of punishing failure. It's difficult to get good information from someone so dumb and obviously compromised as Swalwell. Maybe he was only on those committees to feed the Chinese misinformation. Also, they already have the true information directly from the deep state and all their hacks of underdefended online connected systems, so what was her purpose really? To confirm what they already knew?
