Wizard of Oz book was from 1900, and the whole book was about the Federal Reserve and how they were going to take control of the world from behind the scenes.

Yes. The movie was in 39 and for some reason they changed the slippers to ruby. Then I guess they made hay outta that by using Jack Ruby to close the book on the JFK episode. Didn't JFK want silver money? It's like they said "No Jack, you get Ruby".
