I came here to comment on the last quote you have there - I sure would like to know what 'enormous pressure' she experienced. If it is truly 'her practice', she should only have her internal moral pressure to address. If her license or admitting privileges were threatened, seems like she would have mentioned this in her article.
She's actually in a small portion of this documentary, which I watched. It's in German, with English subtitles. She doesn't specify the pressure she received, but her body language is somewhat telling. I get the impression that she knows that she was involved in a horrible atrocity done to humanity - and specifically in this documentary - to children. It's heartbreaking. Literally and metaphorically. If you can, take the time to watch it.
