The Palestinians didnt exist until Israel was created in 1948. Jews and Arabs both lived in the land. The Jews have lived there for over 3000 years. In 1948 Jews living in neighboring Arab countries left and emigrated to the new state of Israel. However no Arab countries would accept any Arabs trying to leave the new state of Israel. The Arabs living in Israel were called Palestinians, but not until many years later. They became the pawns for the larger Arab League who wanted to destroy Israel. They are still being used today. Hamas hides behind them to launch rockets into Israel.
