This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.

In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
I need to quit my job after 12 years. The micromanaging has hit the worst most painful levels. It's so bad it has caused stress and anxiety , ruins my nights and weekends.
Constantly negative feedback nothing ever positive. I used to be happy at work. I'm absolutely miserable. Going to try a slightly different industry, and possibly self employed. Don't have much money saved up. Scary, but I'm going insane ever since I got this new WOKE LGBT manager. I feel targeted that they are out to get me looking for problems instead of allowing me to do great work. All this in the last 6 months. Every day is painful, I finally understand ex-coworkers who said it feels like prison
is there any mechanism where you can discuss concerns you have with your manager's immediate supervisor? Your health being impacted directly by this manager can cost your company money.
Management constructing reasons to terminate an employee can be actionable if done specifically targeting one employee but not others for the same work ethic or behavior.
