Airbus bought out a very good airframe, the A220. This left Boeing with no alternative to to this to sell to airlines, so they started a fast track configuration change to their 737 series.
They cut corners in the design, tooling and manufacture despite the engineers valid protests and pushed ahead using diversity hire (allegedly) at all stages of the process. The FAA did not say very much about all this and how risky it was, why I don't know.
Also what happens when you outsource to India, who doesn't have the expertise, skills or knowledge necessary and who are being paid nothing so they don't care about putting pride in their work
Boeing must have gone woke, and lowered employee standards.
Gone cheap mostly. The whole woke shit is just so they can hire cheaper unskilled labor
Probably used Chinese steel, aluminum to save costs.
Exactly.
