Texas NG are pretty much told to not let in or do what they can to deter illegals from coming in, meanwhile Biden (federal call up of NG) has called up some NG for a year to the border to assist border patrol, and the border patrol has been letting these illegals in when they were cutting the razor wire (that the Texas NG put up) to help them come in. And I'm sure all this isn't going over well with the NG troops.
The USA was a collection of states, where the states each had their own power. The federal government was created to "establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity"... don't we all know that from Schoolhouse Rock? I sang it as I typed it. Anyhow, nowhere does the document power to do anything they do now. The states are to have the power to protect themselves. That is what Texas is doing. They are honoring the Constitution, and their states rights.
