We have too many judges that do not understand technology. Example if their IT Expert says it is a private network, when it is on the public internet โ the judge has ZERO ability to judge that. So no matter whatโฆ the judge has ZERO idea what anyone is showing them.
They want people to keep buying technology and they want manufacturers to keep it simple for the masses to use Bluetooth, WiFi, and other radio (radio) communications.
While the government will give monies to these manufacturers to add in hidden thing for protection. They will make it a high level of security clearance.
Then the manufacturers will bake in their hidden stuff too.
We could make devices that use an unknown radio frequency but claim it has to be wired ethernet.
To use technology in conjunction with voting AND have this voting be trustworthy will entail making the records 100 percent transparent and public.
Just like we use Zillow to check on real estate prices in a neighborhoodโwe would have to be able to have something like that.
Peopleโs perception of private vs public is also very fked up. People think in public they are private but in private they are public. So much brainwashing in the past has really scrambled the sheeps noggins up.
A person driving on public roads thinks their license plate is private.
We should have a license plate or possibly a way to pay registration to vote?
Unfortunately, that can be said for everything. It's impossible for one person to know everything, so that's why we get data from as many veterans of a field as possible or why we hire other people to take care of things beyond our expertise.
Most people don't even know simple Windows commands for things like snipping tool, run, process manager, etc., and so it has to be explained and ideally corroborated.
The WWW vs Private Networks has hundreds of avenues if not more.
A data packet alone is usually limited to 1480-1520 MTU, but if that is not limited there is more room for hidden information. A data packet can be 9,000
On the street so to speak it will be said 1500 is the limit but in telecom world it can be 9,000. The customer or end users firewall/router or telecoms equipment will be set depending on how many clan tagsโ
A thing called SDWAN has redefined what internet is and they sell public Internet broadband and such as private connections now.
It is more complex than people that are even very technical understand plus the added manipulation of private vs public allows judges and the IT guys to -claim- it is private โ when it is not.
In the Ethernet v4 and v6 world there is a lot to learn for manyโeven me and I have been in it for 3 decades.
Mirror packets-Mac swaps-Mac cloning-there is a lot of flawed security that is touted as secure.

Agree though in this case its malfeasance. The judge sealed this enlightenment from even CISA (per earlier reporting).

โinsurance to vote?
Something or we should go back to paper ballots
