Landry better step TF up. He was elected with a majority from the primary. No run off needed. This is one of the issues he was elected on. I also have decent source that he and several newly elected officials - AG, treasurer, etc , as well as Landry, are on board with convention of states. At least that's what the La convention of states group told me prior to the last elections here.

I was born in the northeast and moved to the south before high school. I didn't understand the south, the people, the culture. It wasn't until I moved to California and grew up a bit that I began to understand the south and appreciate it. I live in the south now and couldn't be happier. The wrong side won the civil war and I would have fought for the south had I lived back then.
Great way to describe it, my fren. I grew up in Oregon and moved around the west coast. Until I recently moved to the south, I didn't know how nice the south is.

In some ways, the "no standing" position of the SCOTUS in 2020 may have shaped Texas' response today.
They realized in 2020 that the SCOTUS are a bunch of black-robed cucks (minus Alito, Thomas, and Gorsuch).
If the SCROTUS is going to say Texas has no standing, then it is no surprise to me that The Republic of Texas is going to say you have no standing over us.
