I've been aware of the US-GCHQ-NSA link since early 2017 but what really intrigues me is that on 23 January 2017 Hannigan submitted his resignation for 'personal reasons'.

I'm surprised this hasn't been memory-holed yet, but his Wikipedia entry says the following: According to the Guardian, his resignation was sudden and prompted speculation that it might be related to "British concerns over shared intelligence with the US in the wake of Donald Trump becoming president."

Ive posted this elsewhere and got flak saying it was fake, I have it in my meme folder named "fake letter GCHQ" now as a result so would like to know either way. Cannot remember the criticism, but it seemed credible critique.
