Hawaii Unites is the only organization within Hawaii that is taking legal action against the mosquito release, as far as I know. The mosquito release is planned for every island within Hawaii, and mosquitos are currently being released on Maui. Supposedly Hawaii Unites was able to successfully file an injunction for the Kauai release, but tell that to our local friends there on Kauai who have been noticing suddenly aggressive mosquitos and getting sick in weird ways since November when that injunction supposedly was passed.

Here's some advice to us all: if you live in an area or climate that supports mosquito life, I suggest you stock up on ivermectin. If you don't live in an area that supports mosquito life, I still suggest you stock up on ivermectin.
