We are watching the economic suicide of New York, that is true. But contrast it with Florida, and Texas, and most of the other States. All New York is doing is accelerating the exodus of businesses and people with functional brains from the commie blue states that do these sorts of incredibly stupid things.
Put simply, New York's pain is all the red state's gain.
