Do they perhaps mean seven times between washes? Because that is more reasonable.
True. If they're the good kind and well mantained, you can wear them non stop for 3 years, easily.Iirc the jeans fabric was originally concieved for the slaves that picked cotton, and for the military. It had to be resistant.
My last pair of American made Levi's lasted 20 years. The new ones, you'd be lucky to have for 2.
