My own mother, God rest her soul, once told me that if she could live forever she would.

I have never felt that way. I am fasting approaching 70, and I've had a good life. No one gets to live forever. While there is no need to rush it, there is also no need to live in fear of it. Everyone alive dies. I don't know what is coming. I am not deeply religious as some here, but I do not fear dying as so many seem to now days.
