I have to be honest. Living in nyc and counting the days until I leave for good, feeling all is lost here, this made me smile. I know there are a few good ones around still.
Yeah. Rents are insane. I lucked out with decent rent for a decade in the northern edge of the city and then bought a co-op. Rent is a losing proposition here. Especially now. At least with the co-op, I have a decent amount of equity when I leave. Unless the whole city goes under before then.

And since the Patriots shut it down in 2016 and there is no need to wake up the People in 2024 as there was in 2020, It will be shut down. Trump tells us all the time what the consequences of him losing will be for our country. I guarantee he is not leaving anything to chance this time. Because if they do steal it the consequences are too terrible to contemplate. This country will easily hit the Deagle number. We will all witness war in our backyards.
NYS gets a bad rap as it should for the commies that run it into the ground. However, outside of 4 of 5 boroughs, Albany, Rochester & Buffalo NY is red as blood.

My nephew lived in NYC. Made what around here is called very good money.
It took 5 guys to be able to afford rent. He's in Seattle now.
