Holy Father, I am once again thinking of how You inspired me to get in advance to the train station so, given enough haste, I could get back and pick up a forgotten item at home and still make it on time to the train. I had not sweat that much for some time and I had to adapt to my painful knees to still run fast enough. In the end, I felt sore and tired, but I also felt my body had some exercise it craved. It feels good from time to time to get such physical relief. The body indeed is the Temple of the Soul.

Medardus or Medard (French: Médard or Méard) (ca. 456–545) was the Bishop of Noyon. He moved the seat of the diocese from Vermand to Noviomagus Veromanduorum (modern Noyon) in northern France. Medardus was one of the most honored bishops of his time, often depicted laughing, with his mouth wide open, and therefore he was invoked against toothache.
