The PCT doesn't work for anything. It's not even a test. It's more like using a digital multimeter to check a bad electrical system component when you already know what component is bad. It's more a tool to help get you going in the right direction, but is useless for any actual real tests. The inventor of the PCR test has already said, ad nauseum, that the PCR is more for lab use to verify a pathogen can infect a host, nothing more. Highly inaccurate and highly suspect when it's used a benchmark test result.
Which makes me believe that the way we test for biological pathogens is way off to begin with. Nothing beats a good old fashioned, 24-36 hr petri dish test.
