Trump was polite and measured in his introduction of RFK Jr. I know he is in good shape but also I thought it looked like he had had a long day, it must've been emotional giving that speech at 2PM and laying out his decision to support Trump to his supporters, many of whom are quite passionate about Mr. Kennedy.
It seemed like Trump carried the football for as much time as he could, and Bobby's remarks were very brief I think because his voice was probably near shot. I know speaking has been strenuous for him during his campaign. Seemed like a kindness Trump was doing to help him.
I really liked RFK Jr.'s remarks he kept it simple and plain, not only was it very energizing to the crowd at the rally but you can see that it is a passion project for him that he now stands a better chance of delivering. He also gets to expose this topic to a much wider audience, and it is not a typical one we hear about every election cycle.
Eating better quality food that is free of poisons and getting toxins out of our daily lives as Americans is really something that can and will receive broad support. You literally cannot find a reason NOT to want it as a voter.
Its critical right now too I think, because it now becomes another plank of our overall platform. It is something else to focus on that Democrats may not have a readily available counter attack for. Furthermore, the Democrats will now have to come up with a policy of their own to compete against it with, they won't be able to just ignore it entirely.
It opens up an important conversation about human health and the degradation of our groceries and living environments. And who has been running the country 12 out of the last 16 years, hmm? 🙄
Lastly I was surprised that Trump gave him a hug instead of just a handshake once he was done with his speech. It was symbolic in showing that Trump isn't this monster they have been claiming for the past four days of the DNC. He is thoughtful and affable, capable of working with others with different points of view on some issues.
We are allied with RFK supporters on ALL of the most critical things and that's what counts, because this is the precipice and we must make alliances now, or we will lose our most critical freedoms for good.
RFK Jr's family has betrayed him so today was exceptionally difficult for him. Trump was good friends with JFK Jr so must have a great deal of sympathy and appreciation for RFK Jr
Immediate family - wife Cheryl and adult kids - did not want him to quit and join Trump. Cheryl especially does not like Trump, so today when he was giving his one hour speech that was recorded and posted to his website, he got emotional and even had some tears rolling down his face. (Go watch his video - really good.) He said it was breaking his heart to have to give up his presidential bid after all the hard work everyone did, including thousands of unpaid volunteers.
He also said his wife and kids were begging him not to do this, but he felt that he had no choice. A tear was rolling down his right cheek, later another down his left. He flicked them away and kept on speaking.
And then there are Bobby's siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, etc. There's a group of about 60 of them that have been posting negative things about him for years, saying they do not stand by his anti-vax, anti-chemical stance. They post all the time how they think he is unbalanced and that they are not voting for him or agreeing with him on anything.
In Feb. about 50+ of them posed in a St. Paddy's day photo with Pres. Biden at the White House in a blatant back stab to Bobby who of course wasn't there and was running against him for president. Them gathering around Biden and smiling was clear comms of their support for the dementia patient rather than their own flesh and blood.
Today - Right after Bobby posted his heartfelt video on his website, and right before his introduction on stage with Trump, his sister and 4 other family members posted together on X that Bobby was a traitor who was shaming his father and uncle's legacy, etc. After they posted that, they were inundated with negative feedback and were essentially told to go F themselves by hundreds of X users.
I just found this statement from his cousin Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg's son Jack:
"Never been less surprised in my life. Been saying it for over a year — RFKjr is for sale, works for Trump. Bedfellows and loving it. Kamala Harris is for the people — the easiest decision of all time just got easier."

My thoughts: Can you imagine what kind of nastiness he puts up with on the daily from these formerly aligned family members? How demoralizing.
I saw one from his sister this morning full of as much vitriol as this one. I would never publicly shun my family whether I agreed with them or not. I love my family unconditionally and I think only crimes against children would cause me to do something like this. This public show of hate should be so transparent to the masses, I pray this kind of crap is waking people up!
That's really sad and actually raises my respect for him.
When people make sacrifices like this for their country and -- yes, even the family that treats him like shit, whether they are smart enough to understand or not -- it shows integrity.
“My husband’s opinions are not a reflection of my own,” Hines wrote on social media early that year. “While we love each other, we differ on many current issues.”
I like RFK, always have. I don't agree with him on everything but the guy has huge balls to call out his ex shit party, go independant and now endorse our guy. This is a great speech.
Same. I have felt for the past year if he teamed up with Trump that would be the too big to rig moment. His speech had me near tears and I felt energized. It is exactly how I have felt about big pharma the past several years (since awakening in 2019) but my family thought I was on the crazy side. I was so touched by his speech that I actually wrote to him last night thanking him for his bravery despite his family’s betrayal. His family’s reaction was beyond appalling.
Agreed. I, for one, have been step in step with RFK on his stance with the shots and chemicals in food, and for the past four years I’ve been doing proactive things to get others around me to live healthier lives. It’s not been easy (I can definitely relate to the family ostracism, which is really tough….), but I’ve been able to make a positive difference for some around me, even family members who shun me (and I’m just getting started! Fight, fight, fight)!💯

Lyrics:
Too alarmin' now to talk about.
Take your pictures down and shake it out.
Truth or consequence, say it aloud.
Use that evidence, race it around.
… There goes my hero.
Watch him as he goes.
There goes my hero.
He's ordinary.
… Don't the best of them bleed it out.
While the rest of them peter out?
Truth or consequence, say it aloud.
Use that evidence, race it around.
… There goes my hero.
Watch him as he goes.
There goes my hero.
He's ordinary.
… Kudos, my hero.
Leavin' all the best.
You know my hero.
The one that's on.
… There goes my hero.
Watch him as he goes.
There goes my hero.
He's ordinary.
… There goes my hero.
Watch him as he goes.
There goes my hero.
He's ordinary.

Wait, his family betrayed him?
What did I miss amongst all the news?

Thank you for explaining, I had no idea what incredible sacrifices this man was making. He will be in my prayers along with his family.

RFK said it in his speech: His wife .....

I hadn't had time to watch the speech directly yet.
That's sad.
Well said.
So very well said, Dominic.

Those left in BIG PHARMA, BIG FOOD and most BIG Fast Food chains must be in BIG time PANIC!

WITH YOU, hard at times but worth it and RFK just gave us all that much needed booster.
RFK melted the barrels of his red pill minigun last night. Kek.
How many of you think his voice problem was caused by the CIA to make him ineffective?
His sister also seems to have it. The experts claim it is some neurological condition that affects the vocal chords.
They do have those DEW weapon (Havana syndrome) that target the brain, though, so I see what you are thinking.
Wow now thats a conspiracy rabbit hole ive yet to go down! Interesting.
Yup!
A thought……could it be that while we anons were hoping for JFK, jr. to appear..,,.,it was to be RFK, jr(?). Just a pondering….
There go my heros.
RFK JR. is 5'9". Did he look 5'9" standing next to Trump?

What else was this grifter going to do to stay relevant? He is a climate change nut job.
