Because we have been trained since childhood in the Rockefeller education/indoctrination to believe "democracy" is some kind of magic word for the country we live in and it is only now that we are waking up that we are realizing that we are indeed a republic and what that means. Now go try to re-educate the sheep.....good luck with that.
