This is a slightly off topic post, but one that I feel is tangentially related to Q and The Great Awakening.
Not sure how many gamers we have in The Great Awakening. I grew up with classics like Command & Conquer, and Red Alert. Over the years we've seen many phases in gaming culture. Among these have been both Gamer Gate 1.0 in the early 2010s, and more recently the Gamer Gate 2.0 which was kicked off when the discovery was made that there are woke consulting firms like Sweet Baby Inc who work in league with the woke journalists to pressure companies into compliance with their D.E.I agenda.
Well, gamers won a very big battle today. Evidently, Sony spent $250,000,000 and 8 years of development on their IP called "Concord." Search for pictures of this game and you will be met with some of the most bafflingly horrible character designs in entertainment history. They checked every D.E.I. box possible while managing to make every character look hideous and ugly. What did all those years of development and millions in cash net Sony? 700 peak concurrent players on Steam and a complete shut down and refund of the game only 11 days after launch.
For those who aren't aware, this type of failure is unheard of in the industry. There have been plenty of flops over the years, but never one of this magnitude that a major publisher like Sony was backing and then subsequently pulled the plug on only two weeks after launch.
For comparison, there is another game called Black Myth Wukong developed by a Chinese studio that came out around the same time. It featured the famous "Monkey King" from Journey to the West as the main protagonist. It was in development for 4 years with a budget of $57,000,000 (20% of what Sony spent) and grossed nearly a billion dollars in revenue.
This is a major sign of where the general public stands with the woke narrative. The mainstream media continues to gaslight everyone with stories of how the woke leftists are all up in the polls and super popular.
In the end, money talks.
The woke narrative is getting buried in all forms of media, be it gaming, movies, television, etc.
That is all. Now back to your regularly scheduled Q digs and research! π
This is very on topic but I think you (and most of us) are missing the bigger picture. Recall when Trump talks about how thieves, when caught, have to return the diamonds. Microsoft has to be broken up, because it is CIA and Deep State and it can't be reformed. If we want to destroy the Rothschilds and the CIA and Blackrock we have to burn it all down and switch to BRICS.
Google/Amazon/Apple/Microsoft all have their infrastructure subsidized by the CIA and American Taxpayer. That all ends soon. Your cell phone, that you make most of your purchases, is subsidized by the cabal. Same with the the consoles, especially Xbox, it is subsidized by Cabal. Silicon Valley couldn't survive if they had to pay their electricity bill. The CIA and cabal launder tax payer money to pay the infrastructure bill of the tech companies. They also manipulate investment to keep these insolvent companies active.
Meta spends like 3 or 4 billion dollars a month just on Research and Design.
I think the Q team wants to destroy the legacy media so the Chinese and Nintendo can buy up the IP for cents on the dollar and put a stop to the money laundering.
This is also a Jump the Shark moment. These multimedia companies got infiltrated and trolled. It's hysterical.
I think the implosion of Microsoft Xbox as a brand is interesting, too. Very similar to the implosion of Paramount. Paramount might not even survive. Same with Intel. These old guard companies, from TV to Silicon Valley, are all on their death beds and might not survive another year.
Sony seems healthy but they aren't thriving either. Nintendo is probably the most likely to survive the Storm. Ubisoft took a hit today and I think they are down 10% because their Star Wars game is down 75% from the sales numbers of a decade ago.
I've been banned on ResetEra for talking about BRICS. I didn't even get a chance to talk about how the Military is dismantling the old guard media corporations and intentionally bankrupting them.
It's possible the CEOs just don't understand interest rates. They might just be retarded. Any way, the video game and entertainment industries are imploding because they are the worst investment imaginable. The games are too niche, games take too long to develop, there is infinite competition, and gamers are tired of the genres. The business doesn't scale either, so the larger you get, the less efficient you get. Entertainment isn't an industry that produces commodities, but these idiots are trying to run Sony and Microsoft like they are producing pork rinds and orange juice. Microsoft is absolutely crazy because they don't want full time employees that retain knowledge and culture. They hire contractors for a year, then they shitcan the contractors and ship the product. But you can't do games that way. Lol. The contractors have no real love for Forza or Fable, so the games suffer because no one has a historical connection to the Studios and there is no passion or culture or even understanding. It's a lack of mentoring. No mentors. No artisans. No visionaries. Just people with a 9 month contract to model a hero trans man in an outfit that looks like asparagus.
Paramount and Microsoft and other media corporations went all in on streaming and subscription services over the past decade (to compete with Netflix and Amazon). But Microsoft nuked the Xbox brand and MS now has to pivot to a third-party publisher because the Xbox brand got beat the fuck out of the market and is like 8% compared to Sony and Nintendo. Microsoft might still release a new console after the Storm, but they are essentially now a third-party publisher and they don't care about hardware to the extent that Nintendo cares. Nintendo, on the other hand, does offer streaming games, but only the old stuff, the really old legacy console games. Sony has streaming too, but it's not day and date.
Embracer just fired over 4,000 employees and closed dozens and dozens of game studios and stopped work on ~70 games. (The Arabs didn't agree to finance Embracer and Embracer had no plan B and no other source of money laundering.)
I donβt know anything about gaming, but that was a really interesting post. Thank you for taking the time for this reply.
