Watching a football game the other night and I noticed 2 separate commercials that looked like a public service announcement encouraging people to adopt teenagers. My questions are, where are the children, what happens to them once the are rescued and how can we help. There are going to be a lot of messed up children who are going to need love and care. What can we do?

Equally important question... "Where are their stories?" Why don't we hear their tales? Their collective big whistle will wake up the masses... so why aren't we hearing from them everywhere, every news outlet, all media platforms?
Something still doesn't add up here.
As adults, most who see the photos of mutilated children are in total shock and the impression left in ones mind is hard to shake. The children who have participated one way or another, survived and are now rescued have unimaginable horror etched in their minds. I have to think that it takes time and special care to get them acclimated to a somewhat normal lifestyle and to the point where they can be released and available for adoption. I would imagine that there are many who never recover.
Exactly, and that is the story.
