I’ve never seen abortion through this lens before

Every YouTube commercial here in Minnesota is essentially “If Republicans win in Minnesota they are going to ban Abortion”… at this point I pray they do, currently it’s legal here up to birth, infanticide… evil incarnate…
We declare that it is evil and God’s heart no longer be hurt! We do not want to injure the heart of the father just like the twitter video said. I call down judgement against and call for the over turning of the Minnesota version of roe v wade. I declare the removal of power from the wicked who keep abortion and pray for the empowering of people who run against them and legally fight them too.
When my first born daughter was born, we had to fight through all the doctor visits and they kept pushing us towards abortion in the medical system. It was like, “your daughter falls into all these categories that would lead us to think their quality of life will be poor.” Then we got thrown a lot of stats and pushed to do genetic testing so we could find out all the awful things that could be wrong with our baby. I do believe the constant monitoring we had to do was partially for the baby but mostly to find what was wrong but we stood our ground on life.
I was also chilled by the infanticide. I believe a social worker mentioned this but I forget during another birth. They tend to find you at your weakest during these stress filled events and push things not of God.
My wife and I refused an amniocentesis…we were already committed to our unborn child, so there was no point. One doctor was angry and belittled us. Low and behold, our beautiful daughter was born…a gorgeous Down Syndrome little girl that is 19 years old now. She is the most precious gift from God.
Same experience on the belittling front.
Amniocentesis carried a risk of killing the baby (at least at that time). I know of two, perfectly healthy babies that were killed this way because the procedure ruptured the amniotic sac. I think that doctors love to scare patients.
We also said no. We told her that we would take what God gives. Pissed her off. Did not like that we brought God into the situation. More belittling.
BTW, perfectly healthy baby boy was born. Seventeen now. Time flies. Congrats.
Thanks, you too! In 2005 it was a 1/300 chance of miscarriage from the amnio.
