I'm just explaining the words that you are using.
As far as I know, the Bible doesn't specify the extent to which saints, angels, and archangels can perceive.
it does say there is much more to know than what is contained in it's written text, and that by forming a good relationship with God, you can be led to understand those things.
ask and ye shall receive.
That's what I've done. I've asked the catholics here on the board. And I'm waiting to receive.
oof..
Matthew 7:7 does not mean ask the catholics. Ask God, in prayer and ye shall receive.
How many places does the Bible remind to 'trust not in man', and 'lean not on the understanding of yourself or others'?
Oh, I've asked God, fren. I know what His answer is. I'm waiting for the catholics to explain why they believe what they do. So far it's all sort of - 'well, it's the mysteries of God' type of thing. But nothing solid. Nothing biblical. No explanation of why it's okay to pray to a created being. But someone might come here with a great answer. The question hasn't been up that long. There may be many solid answers yet to come. And I sincerely look forward to reading them.
a better answer than what you got from God?
that doesn't sound like you really heard from God at all. that sounds like you're taking the text at face value, and calling it a day.
remember fren, the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.
