Do you have a recommendation for what type of Bible is the most accurate, yet easy to read?

Is the NKJV acceptable?

I would say so. Honestly, my personal preference is the NASB95, but there are advantages and disadvantages to most of them. I usually use blue letter bible for online material, and KJV seems to be the default there.
