If I recall, the only way a Constitutional amendment (such as the 16th, which created income taxes) can be repealed is with...another Constitutional amendment.
That's how we ended Prohibition. The 21st fully repealed the 18th.
Which means you'd need 3/4 of states, or 38 of 50, to agree to this.
That's one extremely thorough swamp-draining to get the state legislatures cleaned free of puppet pedos.
Of course, there is nothing in the 16th amendment that says that income tax must be collected, only that Congress "shall have power" to levy income taxes.
All you'd need to do is either repeal the income tax law itself, or render the IRS effectively inoperable, to get a similar, although temporary, effect.
Except the 16th was never truly legally ratified. It's a damn sham and a scam.
I was actually looking at that, apparently the IRS in it's infinite wisdom DEBOOONKED that and will charge you $5000 if you use that as a reason for not filing/"frivolously filed".
Don't question why the agency in charge of executing the 16th guards the 16th amendment so jealously, it makes total sense...
Just for fun, ask the IRS what law states you must file a tax return.
(Hint: There isn't one.)
It's a house of cards as high as the WTC, and I hope one day it comes crashing down harder.
IRS was neutralized June 27-July 1 2024 by SCOTUS:
27JUN: Tax courts (Article II, Exec) unconstitutional, IRS must use Article III courts, must show standing, IRS cannot: No actual rather than theoretical damages to IRS/USG for you not paying taxes (they just print $)
28JUN: All IRS rules and regulations are NOT laws and automatically null and void. IRS “penalties” for not following rules cannot be lawfully levied (28JUN) and cannot be collected via Article II (IRS) tax courts (27JUN); Chevron rollback.
01JUL: IRS employees have no immunity from “unofficial acts”. Attempted enforcement of NON-LAWS (i.e. rules and regulations) is “unofficial”. Also fraud and extortion by IRS now “unofficial”. Individual liability for all IRS and Executive Branch employees (including Federal Reserve) AND gov’t contractors. Previous “extended immunity” gov’t to private parties (contractors) also now stripped for “unofficial acts”. Nearly all actions (~95%) are non-LAW-based and unofficial after Chevron rollback.
BOTTOM LINE: Sue any Federal employee doing anything, or at least get a WRIT OF PROHIBITION directly from Article III Circuit Court for $505. Then get WRIT OF MANDAMUS plus arrest warrant (contempt for violation of WRIT) for individuals, especially IRS employees. Let the ‘GAMES’ begin.
That door is definitely open. I don't pay taxes at all because of my disabled veteran status. In florida I don't pay property tax either. I want that extended to everyone, not just veterans.
Wow! Thank you for that. You made my day.
Just because the government can collect income taxes, it doesn’t mean that it has to. When it gets to zero or near zero income taxes collected, it will be easier to repeal the 16th.
