I suggest they say it's a private road that the public is allowed to use. That way, the NC DOT can't sue them and fine them $20,000 dollars a day for not making the road the way they want it made...they'll cite environmental thing...floodplain violation, building in a riparian zone, runoff issues, foundation issues, no geogrid underlayment, etc. Its going to become a cliven bundy ranch 2.0 type thing..i can just see the butthurt and seething emanating like a pink and purple miasma from the inevitable lesbimaniacial FEMA and DOT karens
