I had an article from Zero Hedge from before 2016 titled "A small town in Mexico fires the entire city staff and runs everything themselves ".
I thought it I had it archived but it was only bookmarked. It was very different than I thought it would read. The people had meetings to organize trash service, policing, water, even teachers from among themselves. The reason they fired everybody was repeated corruption at city hall. Even those who campaigned on breaking up the corruption, were corrupt. The gist of it all is that EVERYBODY was happy with their new system. Nobody wanted the old system back. I saved it thinking it would shed some light some day but unfortunately it is hidden behind payroll now. But the point is we the people have all the power.
