Well Flynn seems to be a devout Christian. He talks about his faith all the time, I mean a lot. So when a person like that says “I will never forgive”, it lessens his testimony. As a Christian you represent Christ. That’s scripture. So we should always watch what, and how we say things. That’s also scripture. Look to Paul for much of that. So as I said in my original comment, I’d go easy on that no forgiveness stuff. You don’t want to be responsible for other Christians following suit, when God expects us to be a certain way. Flynn has a responsibility. I wanna think he is just be hard right now. But it’s the job of his fellow Christians to call him out if he steps out of line. As for myself as well. We wanna represent Christ as best we can right? So we help each other.

When a person like Flynn says "I am Irish", it means that he has inherited grudges from his Great-great-great Grandmother, and has no intention of forgiving you for what your family said about our Bridget, ya bastards.
LoL. Well being a Christian exceeds a person's lineage. Your bloodline ain’t gonna mean squat when you stand before the Father. But covered in the blood of Christ will.
Eh, he's probably that variety of "devout Christian" who has never read the Bible, doesn't go to church, but constantly talks about how much they love God/Jesus.
And then they constantly argue against what Jesus and God say in the Bible, because it doesn't suit them, personally.
There seems to be some Christians exactly like that in this very discussion. Amazing. 🤷♀️
You don’t have to go to church to be a true Christian. We all have the ability to have a personal relationship with the one true living God and our savior. Reading the bible doesn’t hurt though but some versions can lead you astray as can some churches. Discernment is an important tool when navigating your spiritual journey.
Forgiveness doesnt exclude justice. I think he was speaking in that sense.

Off topic, but you have a nice day.
