Tom Homan is a retired American law enforcement officer and government official best known for his role as Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the Trump administration from 2017 to 2018. He was instrumental in dropping the amount of illegal crossings, catching drug smugglers, and child traffickers.

Mexican cartels called him "The Wall" during his one year tenure because of his expertise in smuggling tactics. Liberal congressmen and women find him to be difficult to deal with due to his no nonsense responses. News media also tend to avoid him because of his brutal honesty and straight forward answers that can't be spun into a narrative.

Known for his loyalty to ICE agents, Homan often defends those who serve on the frontlines. He famously declared, “ICE agents put their lives on the line every day,” and he regularly challenges critics to understand the risks and pressures of immigration enforcement. He’s even invited lawmakers to join ICE raids to see the reality of the job, underscoring his belief that critics often misunderstand or overlook the dangerous conditions agents face.

Trump offered Tom Homan the role of Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in June 2019 but he declined for family reasons. However, considering the state of the border, he has accepted a position in Trump's cabinet.

I think this is an excellent choice considering Homan's staunch views on the border and his loyalty to both Trump and ICE agents. Another no bull shit pick in my opinion.
