My only question is whether this is actually going to happen, or is all of this just to bait the deep state into doing something overtly stupid so that the military can enter the picture?
I'm really not sure what the script writers have in store for us at this point, but it sure is getting interesting.
He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.
Its happening whether they like it or not and that is why the media is working so hard to delegitimize the picks.
Yes. But that only becomes relevant in the case where the House passes a resolution requesting an adjournment. Otherwise, that rule has no bearing. Trump can't make a recess appointment unless:
The Senate voluntarily adjourns
The House passes a resolution to adjourn (and the Senate refuses)
Massie may believe they have the votes in the House to pass such a resolution, and he may indeed be correct. Or, he could be bluffing. I don't rule anything out.

I find your doubt unnecessary. Listen to Massie and if they balk read this:
