Feedback: More footage of the end state. Different angles, having the finished work be tilted in the light so we can really see the result. I felt a little jilted that I couldn't get a nice close look at the result, having watched the hypnotic making part, you really want to indulge in a proper good look at the end..
My only feedback would be to stop interjecting the logo in the middle of the video... maybe once at the intro and once at the end. The other feedback in here I agree with too. Maybe add a nice slo mo effect in there at the end to really digest the final product!
Not bad at all! Nice woodworking techniques. Since you asked, some observations about the film itself. At the 1:00 to 1:17 you show a drilling (or milling?) operation that goes rather slowly, you might consider speeding that up like other places in the video. Also, the recurring logo between scenes is intrusive; consider dropping them except at the begging and the end.
Nice job.
perfect thanks
Beautiful; absolutely beautiful. Although my son (a carpenter by trade) built his wife and himself a 4 Poster Cedar Bed with 2 nightstands, He will love this. He doesn't do this intricate artwork, which is very detailed and beautiful, but he loves a good wood working project. Thanks. God bless. I will share this with him.
thank you, hope he likes it
I'm most certain that he will.
I agree with the other feedback, but I would add that the music is a bit much for my taste, but realize that's a personal preference.
Somebody else mentioned using royalty free music. I use Pixabay for my nature videos I upload to Youtube. They have a lot of different music styles to choose from and are royalty free, though some or most might be royalty free only if posted on Youtube, not sure.
What software did you edit with? Just curious.
I thought the constant insertion of the logo between scenes was annoying and I did not like the “herky-jerky” shot near the end of the video, it reminded me of camera work during an Earthquake. Otherwise I found the process of creation interesting.
Only thought I had is that make sure you use royalty free music as the background so you dont get it muted or banned or monetized by some company against your will if it ever gets posted to other platforms like youtube.
Visually, it looks flawless, lighting and focus etc all are great. Maybe some text indicating the types of woods you chose and why you selected them would be nice on a longer-format clip but it certainly lacks nothing with this being absent.
Beautiful end product.
Do put your logo between each cut, make the transitions faster, shortest clips should be 5 seconds in length. No need to fade to and from black with each cut.
Great job… different cameras provide character , but didnt look to far off visially from each… so it worked. Keep your superstition creations logo for your intro and outro only…. Dont use it as your transitions, as it is a bit much … good call with time lapsing the cnc to speed up the process. Nothing wrong with slowing down at times (stopping time lapse) but is usually done when you want to highlight the product or something along in the process (like when you focused on the beveled edges) All in all, i thought you did great, especially since it was your first major one
just looking for some feedback on my first edited video, thanks
I don't know what you are looking for in the film---maybe asking if it looks good enough for a commercial---if that is the case I think your transitions could be smother like a fade in and out---other than that, that is some nice machinery. CNC milling machine and all!
thank you all for you feed back
thanks for the feedback
