Toronto (extremely busy but laughably small subway system) has been toying with the idea for years, but it's not cheap. Hopefully when the old guard are all gone and governments are once again enabled to build things without bankrupting themselves, we can have good public transit.
So you think no walls on the subway are better, people fall accidently onto the tracks, suicides, etc I don't really see your point with this one. It's pretty logical to wall it off. Let me guess, you're the type to use an angle grinder without eye protection? :p
Pushing people onto the tracks is happening since mass-immigration became the vogue of the day.
or:
"We need to prevent rape"
All men are required to wear chastity belts ....
This incessant safety thinking is detrimental to making people strong, independent and self-thinking.
I will give you an example:
The railway stages in Germany and many in England too, are really small. Then the train comes along. The line on these stages is there for a reason. Certain people will disregard it. Other people will abuse it.
It just so happens that with mass-immigration these push "events" increase. And no-one falls accidentally. See: disregard.
It's not just illegals pushing people, even 1 accident or a push death done by a crazy homeless man is enough to warrant the wall for me. What possible reason would you want the subway train not walled off? The chastity belt example is not a 1:1, it's ridiculous. The noise reduction, pest control and climate conditioning ability are also good points in favor of the wall.
I think China walls of the subway to prevent suicides
We need walls to prevent minorities from pushing innocent people in front of trains....

Technical term is Platform Screen Doors - good technology.
Also used sometimes in Europe - in London on the Elizabeth Line and the Jubilee Line extension, for example.
They also make the station much less noisy, and allow air conditioning or heating the platform area.
Some airport peoplemovers in the US effectively have this as well (ATL, MCO, DEN, EWR, JFK, SFO, MIA, probably others)
That is a very good idea.
I wonder if the New World Order WANTS people pushed onto the tracks. Helps with their Agenda 21 - Depopulation.
President Trump can get it done.

We don't need more walls inside our own cities, we need more and better citizens.
thats like saying we dont need a border wall we just need better neighbors
Same as Singapore, but that's a small and rich country who can afford it.
That is putting the horse behind the cart. .....
Typical COMMIE shit.
Life is everything. Without Life there is no liberty. Without liberty there is no life!
And sometimes, you just have to accept that stupid people choose stupid people in power, implementing policies that seem to require such walls.
The policies are the policies of the stupid, the idiots.

Simply put: you are your own wall.

common sense does not need a wall. Moral & DNA degenerates? yeah.
I am glad you said that. Mu hopes for you have been elevated.
Well it'd be nice to keep the rats and roaches at bay and have quieter, climate-controlled boarding platforms. Common sense has prevailed! :p
