I think it’s more about Trump wanting everyone reporting directly to him, not each other. He wants coordination and effectiveness. He doesn’t need a Cailin Collin’s asking him about something to make him look uninformed. If Kash’s people arrested a notable person he wants told immediately before it hits the internet.
