I don't think it was meant as an insult, but rather a statement about just how deep the corruption and lies go, and how vast they are. It would be hard for anyone to know all of them.

The first two were before my time. Although, I remember the global cooling BS carrying over into the crying Native American garbage propaganda which was their segway into the whole "go green save muh planet from global warming ozone rot" narrative.
It has always been interesting to me how the propaganda and social engineering has evolved over the decades. It's intoxicating to be aware of it and not be effected. It's sobering to watch the normies though. How fortunate anons are.

Various buildings suffered plumbing damage and one laboratory building was so structurally damaged that it was stricken off as unrepairable.

I don't know about others on this site, but I DEFINITELY now have a decent supply of toilet paper because of the idiotic panic buying of toilet paper that happened during covid. What is really infuriating is that the cost of toilet paper has not really dropped since covid! Who would have thought that $1 for a roll of toilet paper would become the norm (and the same for paper towels!)!

I remember vividly in 1996, when I had just bought my first new car (when I thought that was a good decision), I was at a stop light, feeling proud of my shiny new car. The news comes on at the top of the hour, and the news guy says "Government officials say that we will run out of gasoline in 10 years". I remember feeling deflated, and thinking "well, at least I get to enjoy my new car for a few years before I can't put fuel in it anymore." I am still mad that they took the wind out of my sails with their lies.
