I'm finding grok to be brilliant with my current project at work. Things that would take weeks to research can be done in a couple minutes using the DeepSearch feature.
I have been using Grok more frequently than the internet of late. It compiles the differing opinions of many people and packages it up nicely. I consider it an aggregate of a ton of opinions, and I find it pretty useful. In my mind, it’s not really “artificial” intelligence, but more like a “compiler” of information and opinion.
The one weakness I have found with Grok is that it tends to regurgitate the establishment dogma on topics, like "climate change". I should ask it "But what about the research papers discussed on the notrickszone website?"
I think that’s because the internet has been so overwhelmed by that narrative, and the truth so repressed that that’s what Grok finds. Now that we’re able to speak truth in some places, we can change that.
Hi. I have never used Grok. I tutor high school students and would like to be able to use it as a tool. How does a person go about using Grok? Let's say ai need to do research about an Astronomy topic, for instance.
Very good article for possibly using Ai to put together a decent summary to hand an attorney to fight for your rights. Or to use yourself in court if desired. I hadn’t thought of using it this way until reading this.
I have found in life that convenience robs you of wisdom. Knowledge gained too conveniently also degrades in memory faster. Finding answers quickly without navigating through all the data, even seemingly non-relevant data degrades comprehension and mastery.
AI is a convenience like any other. Convenience robs you of wisdom by removing experience, which is the cultivator of wisdom.
The fat idiotic spacefaring crew of the megaship in movie Wall-E comes to mind. They can navigate the universe but will likely come to a dead end once the slightest anomaly appears in any of the processes they use to do it because all critical thinking has been outsourced.
AI will further degrade the human race into slavery.
AI will further degrade...most of... the human race into slavery...while the rulers will be ruined by pride (Hubris), greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth.
The shackles are much more restrictive than that my friend. We all live in a real life matrix but very few know of it or are even capable of grasping it, much less escaping it. God bless us all.
I don't pay for X, so I haven't used Grok. How "woke" does it see to be? For instance, what does it say about the 2020 election being stolen, J6, and the various allegations of sexual misconduct against President Trump?
Thanks! I haven't been keeping up with it. It used to be that you had to pay to use it.
But going back to my original question about Grok being woke or not, I asked it if the 2020 election was stolen from Trump, and it summed up its response with
In short, no credible evidence, as judged by courts, audits, or investigations, supports the claim that the 2020 election was stolen.
It's not time yet unfortunately. If they trained Grok to start telling the truth on everything that would not work well in the grand scheme of things. There's narrative seeding that needs to take place first before the big conspiracies are revealed.
I have used ChatGPT to research a wrongful termination case for my wife regarding the vaccine mandate. I fact checked all the case law it sites and it was accurate and applicable as far as I can tell. However, the following is a case where ChatGPT hallucinated fake cases and an attorney was sanctioned for citing these fake cases, so always double check.
My family is going through a lawsuit and my younger brother has a lot to lose if the win goes to older brother. Anyway, I started asking Grock questions about the case as it evolves in an effort to reassure my brother and cool his anxiety. So far Grok has been right every step of the way. I even tested it by explaining how a feel about the whole thing as a Christian. I figured it would poo-poo my beliefs. It didn’t, in fact it gave me bible passages to support that aspect of the situation. So far so good on all counts. I told a friend that she may want to rethink her career in social work.

Putting together my thoughts in a quick and digestible format has saved me HOURS of tedious work.
AI is great for organizing, getting a clear project path, and making big data super digestible. Super time saver.

"Just Grok It"
Needs to replace "Just Google It"
It's like 100000x better at searching the web
or we can repurpose the phrase "ask jeeves" to "ask Grok"
can also organize big chunks of data. - any way you need a project done efficiently .

Thanks!
Open X, choose the Grok symbol at the bottom of the page and start asking questions! It’s awesome!
There’s also an app for that.
App Store.
Thanks!

Thanks. Wow. Very helpful.
Thanks. I will follow this path. I appreciate the response.

Powerful assistance to the People.
So...crawling out from under the privacy rock...
Is joining X still free or do you need to pay $8/mo now?
If free, is using Grok free also? Or are their tiered prices depending on use?
You can go to https://grok.com, but it is a little sketchy layoutwise on mobile.
Thanks... PC ate it! 😁

There is nothing new under the Sun or is it Son ?
It answers some legal questions for free. If you want to pay a lawyer, or sift through dozens of legal briefs, go for it.

You don't have to subscribe to X to use Grok.

Can't speak to Grok as I haven't used it for legal research.

Good advice in all situations.
