I stopped arguing why it isn't what everyone keeps trying to say it is. I don't like it - seems stupid, and it was introduced the the ex-speaker and resident alcoholic (at work) who tried to impeach Paxton. Another supposed republican hero tried to introduce an amendment last night to make the incumbent legislators EXEMPT from this law if it ever sees the light of day.
Our Texas legislature sucks. Drunks, RINOs, Bushies (yeah I know)...
It doesn't surprise me. The lege is part-time so we don't get the best people. We get the people that can burn their own money and not miss any of it. Some say they are blue, some say they are red. They're pretty much all blue-purple. It's hard to find someone to replace them since everyone else is busy actually working or trying to find a job.
Don't let these morons tell you we aren't red. We are getting more red. Border towns are going red. I'd love to be able to get this Carlos jackwad's X account killed. Either he is a complete dumbass or he wanted to stir up crap by using Texas. The hand-wringing and fantasy-porn from X accounts is beyond ridiculous.
