The problem is the system. If you're drawing social security retirement and you continue to work, they take away $1 for every $2 you earn over a certain threshhold. The welfare/food stamp system is $1 for $1. There is no incentive for them to work, the free stuff just goes away. If it were structured like SS, there is an incentive.
