Wow what a story! My 39 year old half sister has a a gene deletion on 13 and an addition on 8. Both came from her dad. She has severe speech issues and deformed spine issues as well as mental delays. She probably still has the mind of an eight to ten year old.
My child sounds almost the same as yours, though she is still doing some echolalia when speaking with adults and other kids. She repeats things a lot instead of having a conversation. We have her in speech therapy for this which seems to be helping a little. The flapping has been non stop since a baby. She looks people in the eye once she knows them. I think she got a red flag for that because she is shy with adults.
