Antifa is straight-up violent. Signing up to be a counter-protestor might as well be signing up for a gang fight. If the police are there, and do their jobs, fine. But if they're not, and you're going in without support you're signing up for either abuse or combat. It's not that we shouldn't do anything, but that it's a serious decision to act as a paramilitary group, and doing anything less is dangerous. This girl is brave, but she'll lose her hearing if she stays there long. Bondi says she'll take care of it; let's give her a chance to do it the right way first.
You're correct, if anything that's something meant for the Proud Boys. They specialize in combat perfect to engage Antifa and these radical left scum.
This is exactly what I was thinking. Even regular lefty protestors get violent when they encounter things they don’t like. So if you want to get out there you need to be prepared for a possible encounter. The good news is a couple of our boys could take on a small group of lefty protestors if needed.
This is likely why media went so hard on proud boys. Basically trying to shut down an opposition at these events.
What if some are willing to fight? You're encouraging us to cower behind our leaders. If there is Antifa in my area threatening our peace, threatening my family's safety, then by god I'm going to do whatever it takes to run them off.

When we were getting ready to leave for the rally on January 6th, the only thing we were worried about was the potential for violence from Antifa counter protestors. Lucky for us they were deep undercover as Trump supporters on that particular day, and the only violence we encountered was from the Capitol Police.
Every situation is different. On Jan 6, Trump said he needed us there. Thanks for showing up to represent!
Same as pro illegal protesters in England. Cops escort them in and then when they've riled up the patriots sufficiently they quickly bus them out to safety so that the media can portray the anti migrant group as unhinged and violent
