The Department of War on Monday announced it is considering recalling Democrat Senator Mark Kelly for court-martial proceedings after he urged the military to defy President Trump’s orders.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth released a statement on Monday:
The video made by the “Seditious Six” was despicable, reckless, and false. Encouraging our warriors to ignore the orders of their Commanders undermines every aspect of “good order and discipline.” Their foolish screed sows doubt and confusion — which only puts our warriors in danger.
Five of the six individuals in that video do not fall under @DeptofWar jurisdiction (one is CIA and four are former military but not “retired”, so they are no longer subject to UCMJ). However, Mark Kelly (retired Navy Commander) is still subject to UCMJ—and he knows that.

In 2020, AZ was about as red as red gets, playing host to a 90-mile long Trump/MAGA caravan, and unwavering support for Lake. 99% of AZ residents I know in this state are MAGA. Mark Kelly said it himself, willingly, knowingly. And the idiot taped it and released it to the public. I hope they all are tried and convicted, and sorry, not sorry, I hope they hang for it.

Yes, but none of the others are retired military. If you don't retire from the military, once you've completed active duty and the mandatory reserve time, you're released. The military has no further jurisdiction over you. If you're retired military, they have jurisdiction over you for the rest of your life.
