Liberating Iran in a support role to the people would be a good thing. It also would be the opposite of what Israel wants. Most of the Persians are Zorasterian and not Islamic - or not radical Islamic anyway. There was a real chance for their freedom during Bush (2004'ish) and Obama (2011'ish), but they offered NO support to the people. A free Persia (Iran) could be a very good ally to the US and trade well with all of central Asia. Persia has been around for 7,000 years.

I agree with everything you said but the opposite of what Israel wants. Israel has been pushing hard for the regime fall for a long time, and has demonstrated the level they have penetrated the regime in the 12 day war. Iran joining the Abraham accords would be phenomenal advancement and they have fought for it.
