Hello I would like to bring up a point about the Somalian daycare scam. If you think one politician or the Somalians dreamed this up you are mistaken. They are merely following an existing business model. Catholic charities perfected this model many years ago. Government spend into social work is based on “documented” people helped or some other non sense. Which means if you can put it on paper and say it happened you get paid. You just have to make sure the person auditing gives you a heads up before they show. I would say most non profits that are government funded are involved because it’s near impossible to meet the requirements 100%. The rules to qualify and maintain the funding are made in such a way that you must lie and compromise if you wish to continue getting funded. What does this accomplish? Many things but I think the most important is forcing generally good people to lie, cheat and steal in order to help a few poor or hungry individuals. When they are caught because they are not hip to the bribery etc then another non profit swoops in and takes over the property, contracts etc and the community goodwill that was built up gets broken up also conveniently preventing any strong community groups that would go against the approved politics etc. This has gone in too many different directions but I am done typing. Look into it.

The "established" religious "charity" organizations DID/DO actually relocate THOUSANDS of people and take care of them! Look all over the US!
Still a rip-off of the taxpayers. The government allows it. There may be scam charities involved as well. Prob are.
Federal government funded "charity" is NOT charity! Charity comes from the hearts and pocketbooks of individual people! You want to take care of illegal immigrants? You volunteer and donate! I have other priorities for my charity efforts, and should not be forced by having to pay taxes to support other ideologies claiming to be humanitarian!!
Absolutely correct. Fed govt funded is not charity. It's a tax. Also don't know if all dioceses do this but the churches I attended are taxing (yes they call it a tax) per parishioners as well as taking a percentage of church donations even from the Poor Box.
How can a tax exempt entity turn around and tax parishioners and those donating to a specific cause? Truly they should lose their tax exempt status.
Not done typing. They use this government funded network to push various ideas on disparate groups. Easiest example is how during Covid all these churches, non profits, social groups came out in unison with praise for vaccines, testing etc. As party of accepting funding they are also given marching orders on community outreach for that kind of stuff. It’s also a great source for large crowds of “protestors”.

The Roman Empire did EXACTLY what they're doing right now with all the Indians taking middle management positions in top industries and government - back when they were trying to eliminate the Byzantines.
They very purposefully import incompatible groups of people into a region to cause instability - the proverbial "ant jar" where they stir up shit whenever it fits their needs.
One only has to look back to WW1 and the Middle East and India & how they carved it up. India and Pakistan also comes to mind...
