This would be win-win situation, the USA gets natural resources worth $4 trillion and Greenlandic people get to join the most successful, richest & most powerful nation on our planet's history and their living standards & quality of life would increase multitudes in comparison to what they have now under Danish occupation + they would get $10,000 - $100,000 pocket money.
Purchase Greenland by paying each citizen $500K.. only 50K population. I can tell you definitely Denmark never cared for Greenland and the Inuit people hate them because they were killed by the Danish.
I say500K so they can make or rebuild to a touristy land. There aren’t many jobs there and they suffer a lot in the cold and held on. It’s only fair.
Greenland is very tactical militarily with Europe falling apart. Russia has always used surrounding countries as a buffer zone. Greenland on one side and Alaska on the other provides a lot of security. Russia selling Alaska was one of the biggest blunders in history.
Smart move. The money will be spent within the (new) USA and would also be a fraction of what it'd cost to buy from Denmark (if they were willing to sell).
