When your water company or electric company is run by a bunch of leftist DEI hires, the systems eventually collapse. This is caused by a lack of planning, a lack of maintenance, and poor operational control. Proper planning, maintenance, and operation come through years of experience. It takes two to three times as long for DEI hire to get up to speed than those hired in a merit based system. Who wants a DEI brain surgeon operating on his head.
