I was just thinking of that old Twilight Zone episode, the town that suddenly experiences all sorts of strange electrical outages, power surges, flickering lights, cars that randomly start and stop, etc. ... soon people get paranoid and weirded out and start turning on each other and blaming each other. The town descends into violence. On a hill overlooking the burning town, aliens stand and watch. “Well, that was easy” ... they didn’t even have to attack and risk anything — they just flipped around some switches, and waited for the earthlings to destroy themselves.

I’m beginning to wonder if Trump is just standing on the hill watching, minimizing the risk of being seen as a coup-plotter or manipulator, and soon the deep state actors will start exposing, incriminating, and convicting each other.
